Tipping the velvet.

An odd week at the factory with snippets on news about the 8th of December bringing changes but just gossip i reckon,as we are a player down from our team we have a ringer in,velvet trousers un all…Dont ask!

Cold as a witches tit this morning coming home on the scooter,i see now why bikers wear all that leather,mind you for 10 mins i can stick it.

I reckon we are well into the festive season now what with the tele banging out the crimbo adds and the radio playing the same old crimbo songs..Bring on the spring i say and lets get a look at Kates tits again!

Anyroad 2 shifts still to go so i am about to mount the beast and set off for the factory. Have a good one most of you!

That was swift…

The last shift is here and the other 3 flew by, Mind you we were kept busy so no time to clock watch, The rest of the crew are getting pissed off with my “Only 8 weeks to go” shit, Regarding the next holiday but as Douggie is off on the next block of night shifts & the gaffer being off when i get back from my hols i suppose i shall get it poked back at me .

I managed to bump into the lovely Mrs B during my shift on Friday as she & Master B just happened to be passing, I even managed to grab a kiss, Serendipity.Oh and i passed a few wise cracks at Master B but he took them on the chin.

Back up to the Tattooist on Wednesday so i am chuffed with that,Time to feel the burn again, i am not sure about the design yet as the tattooist has the designs with him but a 2 hour stint should see some headway on my piece. Picks will be posted later.

A swift un.

That’s the working week behind me and with a few cold ones out the front of the pub last night a good end to another hard week, now a few days off and a good start as i did not wake up till well after half ten today,I have been well looking forward to catching up on the sleep i can tell ya.

Outside catering tonight so no cooking for me..Nice!

Off out shopping with the lovely Mrs B on Friday,Mind you i had best slip on the kevlar vest as there is a sniper about in Bulwell not quite what you want while you are shopping.

Good to see the sun shining and the garden looking good,i even managed to get a little fat guz-gog of my bush before the birds and bugs got to it,The whole garden is in tip top condition (All Mrs Bs work) thanks to my watering skills.

Anyroad i am off for a brew now,Have a good one and mind you don’t cop a pellet in the eye if you are out and about in Hood Town.

A scabby week.

Another tough week at the factory, Mind you we did get Douggie back for the last shift so that one went a bit better, Now for a few days off and a bit of quality time.

The crew are off out after our last shift next week, now the weather is picking up we can nip down the road for an alfresco beer. It’s what Summer is made for i reckon,A cheese n onion cob and a pint after work!

The new tattoo is still a bit scabby so no pic yet, But as soon as it looks it’s best i shall post one up, What with Jax asking to see it and me chomping at the bit for stage three to be done, I am literally itching to get on with it.

I was well chuffed to see that Saturday night Sunday morning has been digitally remastered now.One of my faves is that,Mind you a bit biased owing to it being set in Hood Town ( Mind you some of it was filmed in London. ) but a classic i reckon, Go on treat yourself and buy a copy.

Anyroad i’m off to Mozzers to sort out dinner,Have a good one and as Arther Seaton said ” Don’t let the bastards grind ya down.”

Crimbo been and gone,I hope you lot had a good one,i was working most of it so mine is starting now,The factory was busy over the hols and both me n Douggie came away with aches n pains but well up for our days off,all we have to do now is get the new year shifts out of the way eh!!

Mind you the winter hol is not to far in the future so there is allus something to look forward to eh?

I ain’t had a lot of time to post and catch up on the rest of the worlds postings so i am gunna be browsing a bit today..With a chunk of crimbo cake in my mitt!

Well that working week soon went by and with this being my last shift i am well chuffed it went without owt to talk about apart from a scattering of snow that barley covered the ground and a dead magpie on the roof nowt much to mark it as a bad un.

Me n the lovely Mrs B will both be off at the end of the week so a bit of crimbo shopping is in order..i like shopping for prezzies me. Oh and the final destination for our winter hols has been found and holiday booked..Lanzarote… Never been there before so well up for it! A place on the south end of the island for an all inclusive doss sounds good to me.

So all good news…Mind you i aint counting chickens,As Monday night shifts have allus been a bit of a bastard for us so fingers crossed we have a good un.

Well on top of the work here at the factory and with the gaffer at home packing his case, I am in the driving seat steering full steam ahead with only one more shift to do..

Mrs B is looking into the winter hol destinations this week…another week in the sun please. Oh and some nice local beer and good food just to make it work well.

Bargain..

Me n the lovely Mrs B nipped into town today to collect our travelers cheques n euros for the hols so we nipped into the Bell for a swift one and a bowl of chips to keep us going..first time since the refurb and i must say i like it..i was a bit apprehensive on entering but i reckon it’s good.

We picked up the Sopranos boxed set for 90 quid from Zavvi, Half price so we were well chuffed with that,Then a new beach bag and a few holiday bits, oh then Mrs B noticed her watch had stopped so off to the watch battery bloke, nowt wrong with it says the bloke as the battery had become dislodged..a free one there so chuffed all round. Oh and it proper pissed it down..not that we cared!

I had a call from me mucker Douggie today and he tells me his knee is swollen and painfull again so he is off on the sick,,Take it easy mate them knees take a bit of time to mend. So i reckon that is putting a bit of pressure on the fill in crew on our team at the factory, mind you i am in holiday mode so i ain’t having to cope with it eh?

Anyroad i’m off for a bit of dinner and some Sopranos..Have a good un n think of me in the sun..

The country life for me.

Another grey damp morning…Mind you i am off out with the lovely Mrs B tonight for a few beers to celebrate a couple of folks birthdays so my spirits are up and only the day shifts to do before we are off for some easy listening and a night in Gainsborough..Oh and plans for another jaunt somewhere..A bit of countryside would be nice so i am gunna be looking up a few places to visit, Ya can’t beat a few days amoung the trees to chill out i reckon. Bakewell or Buxton look nice..A bit of walking to free the soul & the Peaks seem to do it for me!

I have notice i have another avid reader who is spending hours reading this load of shite..odd how my crap can suck folks in. Mind you one of my favorite visitors is still the backstabber..He pops in 6 or 7 times a day hanging on my every word! Loser!

Anyroad i am off to look at a few country retreats, Have a good one you lot,what with the weekend coming up and all that..Mind ya backs out there!

Ahhh sleep…Alarm!..Snooze..Alarm!..Snooze.

A bit of a lie in today, Well two in fact as i had to hit the snooze button twice before getting up. How good is sleep eh?

Today’s site meter readings tell me that the old factory are still visiting here on average four times a day..I still get the buzz of seeing them pop up. I hope I provide some entertainment back to them as they make me smile.

A good shift last night with minimum work coming in , Just what i needed as i was the only shop floor op in the factory , Sometimes you just get away with it eh? Mind you it was a bit tense at times but the shift came and went with no shit at all…Nice!  Message to Douggie…Get well soon mate cuz the swimming in shit is getting to be a bit of a bind.

The street theatre is still putting on it’s act , the swearing at children is on going but we have had a respite from the incessant thud of a football poundingagainst a wall for a few days…Oh and we have been short of late night banging and music for a few days unall , Though i reckon we have become attunedto it now so it becomes a part of everyday life! Shame the neighbourhood is going down hill though as i see another house up for sale just up the road from me..let’s hope we get some nice folks moving in eh? Asthree familys of ignorant folk in a small comunity like ours is three too many! Bring back those halcyon days!

Anyroad time for a shower and a bucket of tea. The lovely Mrs B is on her way home.
