Back to work tonight and the weekend unall.Arse! Douggie n Maz are off and its me n who ever else the gaffers could rope in,Mind you i have a good 12 days off after this week so i am still smiling,What with Bonny night and a catch up with my mate Mass next weekend things are good.

Bad news is we turn our clocks back an hour this weekend giving us a 13 hour shift to work..British summer time ends again !!! That brings a few months of darkness and gloom,i reckon this turning the clocks back should be done away with.

I am still bunged up but have a nasal spray that works a treat,mind you after using it i get all snotty,a no win i reckon but snot beats bung any time eh?

i just hope it dont get too cold as the scooter is a bastard to start on a cold morning!

Where have i been???

Poorley,Sick,Laid up…Man flu..I reckon i only just made it through.Mind you i dint lose any time at the factory..keep plodding on as they say.Feeling a lot better now though still as rough as bags.

The CBT course has been and gone and my scooter arrives tomorrow, I am well chuffed and now i am insured i am off on the road in the morning..I went for The Piaggio 125 Fly kind of suits me i reckon..not to boy racer and still looks good.

That’s the very one i have..Stylish but not brash i reckon.

A booking next week for more work on my tattoo,nearly done on that though i have seen a bob on templar knight i would not mind on my upper arm…

Anyroad i am off to sort out the stew pot for tomorrows dinner,ya just gotta love stew.

Stew Weather.

As the days get colder as we go on towards crimbo i have decided it’s stew time .. The pot is simmering down there in the kitchen and the smell is brill.we get a good couple of days feed out of that one pot and with a few dumplings in i reckon it’s one of the good things about this time of year.

It’s National Dyslexia week this week so thank fuck for spell checkers eh..not that i don’t use it all the time as my spelling is shite at the best of times..

A bit of a rough time coming up at the factory as we need to set on a couple of bods before the crimbo rush and i reckon we will be a man down for a few weeks at least..Shit happens eh?

Well i reckon Autumn is here..The leaves on our trees are starting to fall & the mornings have been foggy & damp.  The Goose Fair is opening today,Not that we shall be going to it but i am sure hundreds of thousands of quids will be spent there over the next few days..My cash is staying in my pocket..Speaking of pockets, keep ya hand on ya wallet if you visit the fair as it’s a big few days for the pickpockets.

One of the bad things about this time of year is the dark..It puts folks in grumpy moods & has them shuffling along with their heads down & smiles are missing untill Crimbo then it’s heads down till March..Some folks even get sick from the dark..Other than that i must say i like it. i am well chuffed i am not on the nights shift on 26th of October when the clocks go back an hour..Did it last year and that extra hour in the factory is a bastard i can tell ya!

Not a lot of leaves left on our trees here at Barnze Towers now as Autumn kicks in and last night we spotted one of our resident hedgehogs snuffling through a heap of the fallen ones for some bugs, Good to see them again as they have been hiding away for the last few nights. Ain’t nature brill?

A nice steady day today with just a stir fry to whip up for dinner later on after the lovely Mrs B gets home so not a lot to do bar nip up to the shops for some bean sprouts and water chestnuts. I like these kind of days!

Cold today i can tell ya..Heating on full bore so it’s snug indoors here at Barnze Towers,mind you i had to nip up the shops for some spuds earlier and it was perishing out there.

Still suffering from the lurgey and now my throat is sore,I had a call from the

 BMJ and they

reckon it’s the worst case ever recorded..

 

 

Nextdoors cat copped a boot up it’s arse today but it ain’t learning any lesson,it keeps on

 

 coming back for more????

 

Oh and what about this bloke who has a tab growing on his arm eh? is it the final front ear?

As i have been a bit out of sorts this week i seem to have missed the

 

 spectacle of the leaves changing colour,

But looking out of the north wing windows here at Barnze Towers i can

see that nature once again has put on a fantastic show!

 I reckon you just have to love

Mind you the picking up of fallen leaves is a bit of a ball ache eh?

It will soon be time for me n the lovely Mrs B to go out into the countryside

 

 for a walk

amoungst the drying leaves & breath in some crisp cold air.

I love a good walk me!

Three seasons..Not a pizza.

I seem to have jumped the gun on bringing Winter too early..Autumn comes first eh? And by the way today has started out Summer is still clinging on..A nice sunny morning !

Good news today as i am to collect a back up PC (From a local forum member)

to keep me

on line whilst mine is getting looked over, Just how good is the interweb when you say you have probs and someone helps ya out eh? Mind you last year i helped a local band out with a motherboard for their PC..What goes around comes around eh. Anyroad whilst i am up there (The Peacock) i shall be picking his brains on how to sort out my old hard drive n that, as i am crap at that sort of thing.

I tell ya what though this sore throat & snotty nose thing is still clinging

on to me like shit to a blanket! The lovely Mrs B shares this ailment unall so

a box of

tissues each is in

order and sitting  on the settee coughing like a doctors waiting room ain’t no fun!
