More cronyism at the Council offices after all our cash they have lobbed away the jobs for the boys goes on..Shame on you.oh and while i’m at it  choke on the third payment from me for your fuck up with the sewer system around Barnze Towers..Our system shound be the cleanest in Hood Town the amount of cash i and my neighbours have tipped into your pockets!!

Ooooooo ghouls n ghosties here in Clifton as some nutter reckons he has been driven out of his house by demons. What the fuck is wrong with folks eh..if such things existed we would be jam packed with ghosts.. Offer me the place for bugger all and i would snap it up but at nearly 4 mill you can keep it.. i reckon the place is brilliant..The lovely Mrs B went to school there  and i must say i have spent many an hour in the grounds..i suppose it is a bit of publicity to drum up interest in the sale of the hall. If i had the cash i would be in there! But i ain’t got the ghost of a chance.

21 today..

What a day eh..Our 21st wedding anniversary and a bottle of fizz chilling in the fridge.21 years without a bad work spoken.yeah right but i must say it has been 21 wonderful years with so much behind us that i would not change a thing. i got lucky the day i met Mrs B and have enjoyed the ride..Reminds me of the Queen song “Don’t stop me now”

Sometimes i hear folks say how unhappy they are in their relationships and it makes me feel lucky that i have found my soul mate..so hard to find so they say but i managed it.

What a shift last night..as the gaffer was having a few glasses of wine with his young lady (On a well deserved break) i was charge.Ahh the power..Anyroad we were down two only two bods on the shop floor untill midnight when the work was backlogging. a bit of phoning around by me gets us an extra pair of hands..nice.. the team mopped up the backlog and had time for a cool drink and a fag in the gardens before knock off. Being the gaffer was ok but give me the hands on work anyday!

Dave the belt is off tonight,the gaffer is back after his weekend off leaving me n Douggie on the shop floor..no probs as we work well under pressure..mind you that’s not saying we will won’t be happy to see 7 am come around quick i can tell ya.

Time for me to get sorted for tonight’s shift so i am off ,Enjoy ya working week you lot. I gunna be doing bugger all for a few days.

A mountain stream of freshness. yeah right!

We are drinking the top tap water in the country here in Hood Town acording to a recent survey..odd that seeing as we belch millions of gallons into the ground due to leaks! Mind you i have never paid for bottled water so no change there then..i do think tap water much like milk tasted better a few years back..or is that just me?

The start of four night shifts tonight and i am well up for it..i don;t mind the weekend work over the night shifts as the time zooms by and before you know it it the days off again..we tend to be busy so the shifts go by in a flash.And the next stint of night shifts i am off with an overnight-er in Gainsborough and a bit of lounge music lobbed in..Aint life brill?

Ahhh sleep…Alarm!..Snooze..Alarm!..Snooze.

A bit of a lie in today, Well two in fact as i had to hit the snooze button twice before getting up. How good is sleep eh?

Today’s site meter readings tell me that the old factory are still visiting here on average four times a day..I still get the buzz of seeing them pop up. I hope I provide some entertainment back to them as they make me smile.

A good shift last night with minimum work coming in , Just what i needed as i was the only shop floor op in the factory , Sometimes you just get away with it eh? Mind you it was a bit tense at times but the shift came and went with no shit at all…Nice!  Message to Douggie…Get well soon mate cuz the swimming in shit is getting to be a bit of a bind.

The street theatre is still putting on it’s act , the swearing at children is on going but we have had a respite from the incessant thud of a football poundingagainst a wall for a few days…Oh and we have been short of late night banging and music for a few days unall , Though i reckon we have become attunedto it now so it becomes a part of everyday life! Shame the neighbourhood is going down hill though as i see another house up for sale just up the road from me..let’s hope we get some nice folks moving in eh? Asthree familys of ignorant folk in a small comunity like ours is three too many! Bring back those halcyon days!

Anyroad time for a shower and a bucket of tea. The lovely Mrs B is on her way home.

Pub grub.

We have decided to go to a local boozer that has just started to do meals . Kind of odd realy that it has taken so long for our local pubs to catch on that folks want a meal with their pint. Mind you i have never been that impressed with those pub chain food outlets but we are giving it a go.

A bit of a grey day so no walking,Even though the sun breaks out every now n then i reckon it will rain so the local pub is just the ticket. On the room move front i am not best pleased with the strength of the wireless connection so i am gunna connect via a cable and as luck would have it we already have the cables in place in the attic so an easy job eh?

I reckon it’s time to move over from the PC now and let the Lovely Mrs B try to get past level 40 of Bubblez though she has been at it for months and the music pisses me off no end.
