Well that was a fast week in the sun,Well 3 days of sun then a storm or 2,More on the hols when i get back,the wonder of wireless interweb eh?

Is it time to take the crimbo tree down yet? Come on let’s get rid of it and start planning the summer hols.. Mind you we still have the falconry weekend to sort out for March time and we are both looking forward to that..I always find crimbo to be a bit of a let down once your kids suss out that santa aint real, Once the magic goes it becomes a commercial thing , an i want one of those events and that just ain’t magic!

Oh well.. Back to normality eh?

The sun set’s on a relaxing week.

Sad to say i missed the bloke falling off his boat and into the river but i caught him climbing out,Laugh ain’t the word as he tried to be casual..How the fuck do you try to be casual dragging yourself out of a river? He just carried on checking his ropes as if nothing happened..Numpty!

We had some top class meals during our trip,Scallops,Salmon,Game pie.Mind you we had a duffer at one place,Both me and Mrs B were let down by the catering at The Fishermans inn,we reckon they used a microwave oven to warm up pre made meal,It explained why the place was deserted eh…

A good brecky at the Ivy Farm dairy restaurant with the option of no black pudding (I don’t do black pud) and with a pint of tea and the best fried bread this side of the greasy lil’s in Colwick industrial park ,Oulton Broad is a top place to moor up for a couple of days i can tell ya,What with the Wherry hotel,A good Indian eaterie and the Ivy Farm place you are never short of a good meal,And a ten min trip takes you to the fishing port of Lowestoft for some excellent sea food and a few games in the amusement arcades.

All in a fantastic week,with some great sunsets right outside of our back door.

Anyroad it’s back to the factory for me tonight so i gotta get my kit ready for the start of 5 night shifts eh,I must say i ain’t missed the place!

Land legs…

A belter of a week we had i can tell ya,We were put off a bit by the weather forecast but we had 3 days of full sun (burnt the back of my neck) and a bit of rain during the week so we were well chuffed. We ate well every day by dining at a new place each meal and sampled the beers in every pub we passed,One bad thing was the mozzies this year as we both got bitten to fuck by um!

As you can see we got a nice vessel and grabbed all the front of pub moorings when we could,well ya gotta make an entrance eh? One good thing about the broads is the pace of life slows ya down to total relax mode.

A top class relaxing week,now to plan for September! A week in the sun by a pool with a glass of wine and a good book!

I will fill you in on some of the high points later but now we are off into Hood Town for a meal and a few bevvies..

Well well, only one hit yesterday from the major stalkers and two from the cohorts so not bad at all,mind you a hit early this morning so the interest is still there..Bless um!

Off to the dentists in an hour or so to get the offending tooth pulled and i must say i can’t remember the last time i was happy to be getting this done but i shall be glad to see it in a jar…

Final packing of suitcases is going on as we prepare for the hols…a week of doing what we fancy when we fancy it…Been a long time coming.. Soon be time for the September sunshine hols unall so when we get back it’s booking time again,Ain’t life just brill?

A sad loss.

I hear that the Arts theater is to close down & that is shit news as i have spent many an evening in there watching some top class acts,mind you we ain’t short on theaters here in Hood Town but to lose one is crap!

Good news today..It aint raining..Honest..and it’s Mrs Bs last day at work so the fun begins…A bit of packing to do in the morning and we are ready for our hols on the Broads kicking off in Brundle on Friday then cruising along from pup to pub at a steady 4 miles an hour…Nice!

Well it’s a bit black over Bob’s movvers today,again as it’s lashing down and looks to keep up for a few more days..Makes me laugh that a weeks boating is nearly here and a boat is the best place to be in times like these!

I gotta say that i don’t personally know any Star readers but i have worked with a few sad shallow twats who left it around but denied bringing it in!

Good to get a mail from Ken the bubble this week..Just knowing he is basking in the sun at 30 degrees makes me feel a bit of green eye coming on,You lucky bastard!

I got abso fucking lootly piss wet through this morning going home,talk about rain!!! What with the forecast looking grim for the next 10 days it looks like we are in for a lot more,Good job we are boating soon as the whole country will be accessible to us eh?

A nice quiet start to the working week as the factory ticks over at a steady pace,just what ya need on the lead up to ya holidays i reckon,time goes fast when ya feel as good as i do right now!

Anyroad i’m off for a shower and i’m getting my parka out again as my jacket is still damp n that. I hope you had a good weekend dear reader and it ain’t lashing down where you are.

Off out into Hood Town tonight for a few beers and a bite to eat, i ain’t got a booking but as we eat early there should be no problem and of course the rain keeps folks away.That picture above is the embankment wall at Trent bridge and it’s used as a marker for floods,We have had some good ones over the years and i reckon we will be having another if it keeps on raining…

Signing for the deaf..

As i was up early this morning i had a flick through the tv channels to find that most of um had a little bloke in the bottom right corner signing for the deaf…..Do deaf folks watch tele at 5 in the morning????

How come that little bloke only works a night shift eh?

I would have posted a picture but the system here at the factory has gone down,hey we all go down for a price..so no picture…Weather is shite and forcast for more shite to come so it’s a good time to be working and i need all the crap weather to have been and gone by the time me n the lovely Mrs B cast off for a weeks chill.
