Any More?

Is that the end of the snow? Lets hope so , I am well ready for the spring i can tell ya. It is getting lighter in the mornings now and traveling home on the scooter after a night shift is getting to be a lot more fun as i can buzz up to Gotham to clear the cobwebs.

Not long now till we are getting some sun on our backs.

I only have the night shifts to do next week then i have 12 days off,Good news is the lovely Mrs B is off too so i reckon we will be getting in a visit to the cinema of a frame of bowling.Speaking of bowling it has been ages since i went with the Go-Lightlys,Mind you i reckon i am out of their circle nowadays…

I have vowed to win the next bowling game..If i don’t win then i am gunna have a proper strop on i can tell ya.As the foot shot shows i would be better of kicking the pins down……

Back to work tonight for the start of the night shifts,Douggie is back with us though he has a slipped disc in his back, Let’s hope it don’t hinder his graft eh?

 

A nice four days off with the lovely Mrs B and the weekend off coming so all is good.

Not quite the champ…

News just in..Went bowling yesterday.lost.Nuff said! Mrs B is the bowling champ & i have had to give her the trophy (For now)..I am happy to play today for a re match but no takers..If i were match fit i would have won but i have been poorly and am on some special cough medicine and it threw me off my game..Well done to the lovely Mrs B for taking advantage of a sick man. oh and thanks to jesus for the easter eggs.

Good news is we have another day off together tomorrow so it’s all good.if the weather is good we are off for a walk down the Grove,a nice place to spend a bit of quality time i reckon.

A chill,a bit of justice & a splash of colour.

A busy week at the factory but the days off are here again,and a public hol so i have two extra days with the lovely Mrs B. Mind you the weather is shite so the trip to the seaside is off and either Bowling of the Cinema is in order with a meal out on the town thrown in! Such is life.

I was well chuffed to read that some DNA testing has found the killer of Colette Aram who was killed back in 1983 just up the road from me..This DNA thing is a fantastic tool i reckon and it’s good to see such a crime get it’s man. A bit of a shock for the bastard that killed her after nearly 30 years down the track eh? Let’s hope justice See’s him do his time. bring back hanging i say!

On a lighter note it’s nice to see colour popping up in the garden after all the work Mrs B has put into it,The whole garden is getting to be a better picture every passing day,Mind you we still have the odd flea ridden stinking cat coming through..mind your paws on that broken glass now!

Time for me to toddle through a few pages of the interweb now so i’m off,Have a good few off and take care.

Still finding new stuff on the pod and i just cant suss out how i managed without it..Life before the pod was good.now it just got better.

A good first two shifts at the factory and what with a rostering fuck up giving me two extra bods on Sunday things are going well,The last bit of Crimbo shopping to be done this weekend and i will be set for the festive season.

Good news from across the water as Ken the Bubble is coming over from Kefelonia to visit his family so i reckon there will be time to catch up with him for a few beers and perhaps he can kick our arses on the bowling lanes again.See ya soon mate.

Antroad i gotta get a shower before the next shift so i”m off, Have a good un and take care out there.

Me n Dave the belt nipped into town for a catch up with a few of the old faces last night..it was good to see most of un though 1 or 2 of um ain’t on my crimbo card list if you know what i mean..Took some restraint on my side not to abuse um. Mind you when it came to pub move me n Dave ended up in the wrong pub..Lucky for me i reckon. Oh and why do grown men have to pass around mobile phones amoungst um sens? Fucking grow you twats. Just tell the joke..I don’t want to read the thing from a phone!!!

A Bowling night is in the planning though Dark n Devious will be in the dugout with a buggered leg..Perhaps he can bowl with one of those kiddies frames?

Douggie call a bit ago regarding a bugger up in our wages..250 quid light this month??? He is on to the union as i type..

A nice day out with some good times at the bowling alley and a nice meal in town before a bit of DVD shopping..All in a belter of a day had by all.

I love the weekends off…

Turkey on it’s way.

We are off bowling now and i feel confident that i am gunna win today, After we are out for a meal so a good day ahead. Mind you the day started well with sunshine and no cats so i presume the sonic gun is working,We did get the mangy black one look in this morning but it kept out!

It’s good to have Heros back on the teley and that Tin Man looks good unall though it don’t start till May.

Anyroad time i was off now that i have limbered up my bowling arm…Mrs B is in for a right pasting i can tell ya.

Well well would ya belive it?

It seems that the IT system that could not go wrong and cost me my job at the old factory and casting a shadow on my good name has gone wrong again ( Or should i say gone wrong for the first time)..It makes me smile to know that somewhere in the old place there will be a couple of red faces knowing they did me wrong..Yes i do bear a grudge as i recall the word ‘Malicious ” being mentioned during my tribunal..Mind you i feel sure that folks at the old place will be smiling to themselves as most of them knew i was Innocent of all charges…Hey ya never know i might even get a letter of apology before i even get time to set in motion a  claim  under Section 2 of the Defamation Act of 1966..Interesting times ahead!

As for the working week things have been up and down so i am well glad to see the back of this one. We are having a new fence fitted with some anti cat features and we now have a sonic cat repeller in the garden so we are hoping those mesures will keep out the flea ridden moggies..

Me n the Lovely Mrs B are off for some bowling during this period of time off and we are taking in a day out at Attenborough Nature Reserve so all is well for the relaxing time.

Anyroad it’s time for a bucket of tea and a fist full of fags so i am off..Have a good one you lot and remember every dog has his day eh?

Well the Easter break went by here at Barnze without one egg being consumed..Honest we never bother with all that hype and rip off products..Mind you the true meaning of Easter is chocolate so we had a bag of chocky raisons between us..Nice!

A good news week at the factory as we get an early bath on our last shift as British Summer Time kicks in on Sunday morning..Yaaaa for Summer! We skip an hour so 1 am becomes 2 am, I like that idea but i reckon we should stay at that so we get light nights all the time A short shift is good for me i can tell ya.

The Golightly’s are bowling on the 6th of April so i shall be there although my bowling arm ain’t been used for a bit i reckon i shall be on form….It is getting harder to sort out these occasions as most of the team have been put on to different shifts now, big changes at my old factory nowadays,Some folks even lost their supervisory positions to allow the new browns noses in..Shame on you!

Anyroad i am off to get the Shepherds Pie sorted for the return of the lovely Mrs B. Have a good one you lot and watch yourselves on the roads eh?
