A pack of rats!

We are off for a night on the town tomorrow to see the Legends of Las Vegas at the  Sands in Gainsborough with an overnight stay in a romantic place..How lucky can one guy be?

The weekend is gunna be a good one, and from what the crew tell me the factory was a madhouse last week..a good one to miss i reckon. And double time for Monday as it’s a bank hol things are looking good !

As the building trade is taking a nose dive young master B has branched out into landscape gardening so we may find him a few jobs in our front garden as the lovely Mrs BA pack of rats. has ideas for a veggie patch..who knows?

No cooking for me tonight as we are having outside caterers in, good for me as Mrs Bs wheat intolerance is getting in the way of menus… Mind you a good meal is on the cards for tomorrow.

A great nights entertainment was had last night,First stop was Antalya for a bit of snap and a bottle of wine,a window seat is always good for a bit of people watching & there were some odd ball’s out last night i can tell ya, i swear we saw a young Dick Van Dike walk by us a couple of times,Anyroad we enjoyed our meals there before nipping over the road to the Royal Center for the Dean Martin show.

I was surprised to see that there were quite a few empty seats behind us but the show was great,though i thought that the chap who played the part of Nat King Cole just did not do it for me but on the whole i reckon it was a good one and most of us were singing along and having a good time. There was one chap in a wheelchair who had obviously had a drop to much booze and started to get a bit out of hand,shouting and all that but by the second half he had calmed down (Someone must have told him to adjust his behavior during the break 🙂 ) mind you he was probably stunned into silence at the bar prices, nearly 6 quid for two bottles of beer the skanking bastards!

After the show we went down to the Bell for a pint and a bit of live jazz. It was good to see some familiar faces in there and the place as always had a good buzz about it. Out from there into a cab home for a nightcap so all in a good night out. The bad news is i forgot my camera and missed out on a shot of bagpuss cast aside in a puddle of puke n piss,that made us both laugh & reminded me again the importance of always carrying the camera about,ahh well another photo opportunity missed eh?

Anyroad i’m back in the kitchen today and as young master B is back from his mates place (After being there for a week,”Don’t leave it to long to go again mate”) i have to sort out the meal for tonight,So i’m off up to the shops for some inspiration…Chips it is then.

A knock on the door from the postie woke me this morning as i took delivery of the Simon Mitchell art i won in a LeftLion competition a few weeks back,Not a bad way to start the day eh? My little collection of original art is growing slowly & it is now on display in the great hall (Untill Mrs B moves it up to the east wing) for all visitors to see. Well chuffed!

Off out on the town tonight to catch up with Dino & his pals at the Royal Center and grab a bite to eat,one of those feel good days that come along (With top planning by Mrs B) every few weeks. There’s not much can match a good bit of music with the one you love eh? That’s amore!

A wet tea bag caught a killer cat in the guts in the garden today as i sprang into action at seeing the dirty evil fucker creeping about stalking the birds, What use is a pet if your just gunna leave it to go feral? Keep the stinking things indoors if you feel the need to have one,better still cook it up n eat it!

I am still getting hits from those with bad intent,most days i spot an ip address from an unwelcome scrote,I reckon they have to keep coming to see if i have blessed them with a mention,most of um are out of luck though,Mind you a few do get a Stephanieum Award for the piss poor service they have offered me so if you are one of um keep popping in cuz ya never know.

Well i was so tired this morning after the night shift i went straight to bed,Plenty of action last night and we were kept busy all shift so i was well ready for a kip i can tell ya.

Off out down the Manor Indian tonight for a ruby and a few beers and as it’s just a few mins walk from Barnze Towers a nice walk back through the avenue of trees before settling down in front of the tele seems well in order.Good food,good wine,good company. All i need now is a song to sing in the morning.

I have another night shift on Sunday (Overtime to help out with staffing) then a few days off to kick back n chill,Oh and of course there is “Amore ” on Tuesday so it looks like a good few days coming up eh?

Anyroad it’s time for me to slip into my dhuti and get out there for some snap.

Nipples like chapel hat pegs.

Well fuck me if we ain’t gunna lob another few grand into the Market Square refit as the water feature springs a leak,that Charlie Dimmock would have done a better job of it i reckon!

Mind you i do think the square looks better every time i see it,And as they have built a stage in front of the council house in preparation for the re opening concerts it looks good! I reckon another statue of Robin Hood wunt go amiss somewhere in the square perhaps pointing the way to the castle?

A nice way to start the week.

News just in…A phone call from the new boss asking for a favor…”Can i start work tomorrow night?”..How could i refuse,I am well looking forward to getting back to the shop floor after all the shit i have been wading through lately! Mind you i was just warming to the idea of a weeks holiday but Mrs B tells me there’s no holiday without her,And quite right unall!

Cantonese chicken n noodles on the menu tonight and an early night in preparation for tomorrow night,Sometimes theres a lump of gold amongst the shit eh?Oh and i just remembered that me n Mrs B have a night out booked in April for That’s Amore at the Royal Center here in Hood Town so some good times ahead.
