What a shift we had last night..Talk about the extra mile..We did a marathon i can tell ya,mind you last shift tonight so lets hope we have a steady one!
Not had a great deal of time on here of late so brace for a few snippets of shite.

The last shift is here and the other 3 flew by, Mind you we were kept busy so no time to clock watch, The rest of the crew are getting pissed off with my “Only 8 weeks to go” shit, Regarding the next holiday but as Douggie is off on the next block of night shifts & the gaffer being off when i get back from my hols i suppose i shall get it poked back at me .
I managed to bump into the lovely Mrs B during my shift on Friday as she & Master B just happened to be passing, I even managed to grab a kiss, Serendipity.Oh and i passed a few wise cracks at Master B but he took them on the chin.
Back up to the Tattooist on Wednesday so i am chuffed with that,Time to feel the burn again, i am not sure about the design yet as the tattooist has the designs with him but a 2 hour stint should see some headway on my piece. Picks will be posted later.

Flaming June..And a nice start to the month what with the sun shining down and only 12 shifts to work until the hols..How good is that?
I suppose it is too much to ask for an easy ride during the next few shifts but ya never know,Its our gaffers last week before he buggers off to Barcelona for a spot of culture and sun,The lucky bastard..It kind of rankles when his hols come before mine. mind you whilst he is topping up his tan i will be the gaffer,my feet are gunna enjoy the week off i reckon.
Not a lot to do today,return Mrs Bs book to the libuary (And pay the usual late return fine) then i reckon an hour on the patio copping some rays will be in order,Hey ya have to relax before work eh?
Anyroad i am gunna grab a brew before setting off,i hope you had a good weekend,Mine was a belter.
A very busy week at the factory and we all put in that extra bit to see the job through, And i reckon all of us were well looking forward to these days off! i dint get up till 11 today so i must have been running on empty on my last shift eh? Only the night shifts to go then our gaffer is off on his hols then it’s my turn to jet off.
Planning is ongoing for the September hols and the added bonus of young Master B coming along with us is yet another target to aim at,Mind you i think we have something in planning for our anniversary in August?? Life is good.
Bad news on the streets of Hood Town as another victimof the gun dies, and another gets stabbed, I must say it gives me a feeling of dread when young Master B is out on the town,Well you never know what you are gunna walk into do ya?
Good news on the garden front as Grunt our resident Hedgehog has shown his face, Mrs B spotted him the other evening (I had gone to bed early) trundling around the garden scooping up snails. i hope we see some new borns again this year,It’s good to know that we are doing our bit for nature.
Oh and my lastest piece of skin art is looking good now the scabby bits are coming away, I am off up the tatt shop on friday with Master B,he is getting some of those crappy tribal things put on,Whilst i am there i shall discuss the ways of getting a longer session on my back to get it done quicker.
Anyroad i got a bit of shopping to do for tonights dinner so i’m off, Take care out there!
Just had a call from my mucker Douggie..His eye has swollen up??? He is off to the hozzie to get it checked out (Hay fever i reckon,Not that i am a Doctor or owt,Could be Swine flu for all i know.) so it looks like we shall be a man down for tonight shift..Arse..Hope all goes well mate.
I am still living the dream what with my hols just a few weeks away and getting closer with every passing shift.My feet crave the flip flops i can tell ya.

I should have kept my gob shut,but no i had to tempt fate and last night we paid the ferry man as the shift was crap.By the morning we all had done more than we should have and on paper we did a 16 hour shift during the 12 hours we worked ! By 06.00 my feet were on fire and whilest grabbing a chance for a brew n a fag i snapped this pic..Kind of summed it all up i reckon.
Mind you we are known to get proper stuck in at times like that but on the last shift it kind of wears ya down a bit. Still the days off are here again so that is behind us now eh?
Final news on the Winter break as the Lovely Mrs B lets me know that we will be staying at the Hi Club Playa Blanca..Nice one!

Well let me tell ya about our holiday eh? Well i’m posting it anyroad.. We did a shit load of walking and a shit load of different ciders i can tell ya, if you get down to somerset anytime try a drop of chedder Valley..it’s top class stuff,mind you i never had a bad pint down there. we were lucky enough to start one walk on the right side of this hill and a bit of a bugger going down so i hate to think how it feels going up??
Not many steep drops like that but we got lucky i reckon.Exmoor has some lovely views but ya gotta hike for um..well worth the effort i reckon.
All of the little villages we ended up in were very friendly and the ale was spot on..Tell ya what though..After walking for 15 on miles in the hills and a few pints of cider i slept like a log.
We even made it down to Minehead..Not going there again as its a crap place to visit !! Mind you i got to play on the beach for a bit so not all that crap i suppose.

Let me tell ya a bit about our day hunting with the hawks eh?
As we stood waiting at the arraigned spot a chap came out of the woods,introduced himself and guided us in. in less than five minutes we had gloves on and after being told how to stand to allow the birds to come to us a huge owl came out of the trees and landed on Mrs Bs hand. it was brill to see such a large bird land with grace on her fist.after a bit of of a walk through the woods we came upon the site where we were going to be based..A clearing with a table and a few perches for the birds..Then off to the falconers van to collect the birds.two Harris Hawks (Biggles and Dicky) A peregrine falcon (Jess) a Saker falcon whose name i forget, and the owl,a Bengal Eagle owl…
The morning was spent getting the birds to come to our hands and learning about the history of falconry Oh and tying the falconers knot.All in a very interesting time.After lunch (With some very nice homemade soup) we took out the Harris Hawks and went out into the fields for some hunting sadly all we got was a crow with a manky wing but it was good to see the birds at work,And our dog for the day Boris did a brill job of flushing out all he could including the midges that bit the fuck out of us.
By the end of the day we were tired but well chuffed.Bad news is my camera card buggered up so i lost over a 100 pictures.Arse! All in a brilliant day out that i can recommend to anyone who likes to get amongst nature at its rawest. Go on give it a go!
Anyroad it’s time for me to bugger off and enjoy the public holiday with the lovely Mrs B , Perhaps a walk is in ouder if the weather stays nice.

Just got back from the pub after a pleasant walk along the Trent. Feeling full of good food and beer and relaxed after the stroll amongst the trees. The bird song down there was soothing to the mind and the gentle bubble of the river makes for a very relaxing walk.
A nice mixed grill for me and lemon and herb chicken for the lovely Mrs B went down a treat and with the excitement of Mrs B spilling her drink all over the table made for a good time. A bit of a quiet night in tonight cuz we are up early for the birds of prey in the morning. All in a nice few days spent together..Holidays just a few weeks away so all is well.
Young master B is well chuffed with his birthday prezzy and is happy with the choice of games we brought for him..now all he has to do is get his room tidied up a bit and we all shall be chuffed..i ain’t holding my breath!

Last nights shift at the factory was a proper bastard..Both me n Douggie had feet like failed fire walkers by the end of it..You can only do 150 % each when your a man down i say..Mind you the Guvnor stepped in and bailed us out so all was well in the end though my feet disagree.
Last shift tonight and i reckon we all are hoping for a steady one! And good news is that we all get to bugger off a bit earlier at the end of it!! I love shift change over!
The weekend off with the lovely Mrs B coming up so good times ahead though what we are doing or where we are going is a mystery to me at the moment but whatever happens i know we shall have a good time.
