Having a knees up

Well the time is going by a a good speed as our walking holiday gets closer.

We met our new bosses last week, they gave us a bit of hope of improvement in conditions so its a wait n see situation.. We have been here before so no holding breaths n that. The new mob seem to give a fuck so all is good.

 

My knee has been playing up for a few weeks now and I am thinking of getting a replacement done. Now I am old I can get it fixed. Bit  of a decision to make as my mates op dint go as well as it should and he is now having another op..

Tell ya what though it would be good to cut out the pain killers. Asnd get about pain free. I will make my decision when we get back from our holidays. See how I cope with the walks.  Mind you I do about five or six hours walking every day at work and that ain’t easy on my knee. We shall see!

Both Roxy and Frank are getting into mates mode now though they still have to rag each other up every day ( must be a dog thing) but on the whole they get on well.

Any road I’m off to watch Dark Star. A corny 70s Si fi movie.

New ride.

Forgot to mention my new scoot.the Kymco Downtown.A lovely ride. A bit sad to see the old one go but getting a brand new one was a bonus.

Not long now till we jet off to Tenrife again,well up for the chill out,been a heavy few week so i need to rest my head in the sunlight for a few days.

Got myself an Air rifle again after 30 odd years of being away from um. So will be getting in some hunting soon.

Walking Whitby.

Only a few weeks to go till me n the Lovely Mrs B will be in Whitby again,How nice to walk in such a nice place,Good beer n food unall. Then a bit of a wait till we go to Cairo then its planning time for next years hols.Las Vegas is on the cards..

Had a good day out with all the family for fathers day. Spared a few moments for my Dad and Dad in law,And all was good.

Ever had one of those days where you see a twat who done you wrong in the past get a bit of comeuppance? I got one the other day.I hope it hurts like hell and with a bit of luck you might die screaming ya bastard.

Holidays and good times.

The first holiday of the year will soon be upon me,Well up for some sun and fun after a stint of falking hard work by both myself and the lovely Mrs B,We have been putting in some top efforts on the work front and are due some down time.

The weather is picking up here now (Today is spot on) and the sunshine brings a smile to faces that were grim just a month ago. The garden is shooting to life again and the wildlife is moving back in,The resident hedgehog came out for a wander a few nights back and is looking good after its winter sleep.Spring is a great time of year.

Good to see some top class reviews of my mate Dan’s play in the news he deserves the best after putting in a lot of work,Good luck with all you do mate. I am hoping that ” Our style is legendary” plays in its home town of Nottingham,I would love to see it played here and it would be good to catch up with Dan again.

Speaking of the arts i am well chuffed to see we are again going to be having some outdoor theatre up at Notts Castle, i shall be having a portion of that later in the year.

Anyroad its time i got stuck into prepping for dinner,Have a good one and stay safe out there.

A long cold winter

It has been a cold one over the last few months but i reckon its gunna be a good year,All is well at the factory and with 3 holidays booked the year is going well.

I have just about quit smoking now and am just on the odd cigar to stave off the cravings,We are now saving a few more quid so good time to be had with the extra wonga.

The grudge is alive and well inside me as some things just can not be forgotten,Mind you i have never been a forgive & forgetter……..You know who you are.

The garden is just coming back to life now and i am well looking forward to seeing how the big tree looks in leaf after it has been reduced and trimmed, Lets hope it reduces the amount of cleaning up we have to do in the Autumn.

I have got to sort out my driving test soon,So i have been boning up on the test with one of those PC base jobbies,Time will tell.

Anyroad i am off to marinade some chicken,Have a good one and take care out there.

Sunshine & Frost….

Looks good through the window of Barnze Towers but it is furkin freezing, Nipped out on the scooter earlier and just about froze my nads to the seat…Brrr.

Mind you St geos day tomoz and that herolds the warmer weather, And it is good to see the flags flying,its about the only time we get to celebrate Englishness owing to being English offending certain ethnic groups?????

Anyroad i am proud of my race so up ya bum with it.

Things are still changing at the factory and we are enjoying the new bits, Will be bob on once all the changes are in place i reckon.

I have now come to the end of the tattoo work on my back piece and will add a full shot photo when it has healed……Itchy!!!!!!!

Is that light i see?

Good news..Its getting lighter in the mornings,On the way home from the factory this week after the night shift i am driving into day light,Only a glimmer but it makes me feel good i can tell ya. An end to the winter gloom and a herold of the spring.Bring it on.

Things are still in the flux of change at the factory so we are all waiting for the final stamp before things realy start to roll.
