Oh no the bamboo is on fire.

 

We had a great time last night setting off our fireworks,So good that we used um all even the ones i wanted to take to my mate Mass’s house…only one went wrong…A 16 shot jobbie that fell over and discharged it’s load into our bamboo plants, i thought we were gunna go up in flames but it was ok and made us laugh..A lot!

Back to the factory on Sunday night so those 12 days off have zoomed by and a long wait now till the winter holiday in February/March…The long dark nights!

A nice lump of rib eye steak for me n the lad and a lovely rainbow trout for Mrs B is on the cards for tonights meal,a bottle of wine and a nice unwind for Mrs B after a hectic week at the office. She is so lucky to have a bloke like me to pamper her.

Anyroad i am off to prep the dinner,have a good weekend you lot and take care.

A bruse and a crying pussy.

A shit week at the factory and i have come away with a belter of a bruse as a piece of work got loose and gave me a whack…Ouch! Mind you with only one weeks work to do till the holiday the pain aint all that bad. We were working two members down for two days so there was bound to be problems! 150 % you can put in but ya just can’t cover that extra 50%.

Well ready for some time off i can tell ya!

We were disturbed by the big fat ginger cat last night as it struck up one of the those baby crying noises they make..By the time i got outside the fat bastard had buggered off. Folks who insist on keeping the flea ridden things should get um indoors at night as they are prone to getting a stone lobbed at um here at Barnze Towers. I have set up a canch of stones nearer the door now giving me the extra edge. Time to get some paint balls in the freezer i reckon.

Anyroad i have got some shopping to do and inspiration to find for todays dinner so i am off. If you have one keep your pussy behind closed doors.

The street theatre was performing again last night as pissed up twats shouted and fell into the hedges of us normal folk..How come people get so pissed they have to shout at each other from a foot away?

To top it off nextdoor to us had some cavity wall insulation installed today and the noise of it woke me early so a rough night and an early morning did nowt for my mood.

Not a bad day though today and my mood lifted once i got to the shops,A bit of a stir fry tonight so not much prepping to do untill it’s time to cook.And to lift my spirits even more i managed to lob my slipper at that big fat ginger cat hitting it’s arse as it buggered off out of the garden..Nice!

Don’t give up the day job!

Last nights meal in the Ferry was ok.Shame the veniso was not on the menu but the Chef’s dish of the day was good. sizzling steak & chilli..Mrs B went for the sea bass and we both enjoyed the meals..Mind you it did get a bit cold out in the courtyard but one of the staff put the heaters on so all was well!

A nice quiet one today..Well as quiet you can get with young master B strumming away at Guitar hero 3.. Mind you it is a laugh watching him perform..Twat! Not quite one of the pistols yet..

I have just had a call from the lovely Mrs B telling me she is leaving the office early (one of the perks of being the gaffer.) so i have just bunged the duck in the oven and prepped the rest of the meal..Should be done for 18:30!

It is still nice outside and i have enjoyed a hour or two out there reading though now the local kids are home from school i have come in doors..Too much noise!

Good to see a bit of justice handed out in the papers today..Mind you some lefty twat will release this nutter out early you see.

A bit of a lie in today, Well two in fact as i had to hit the snooze button twice before getting up. How good is sleep eh?

Today’s site meter readings tell me that the old factory are still visiting here on average four times a day..I still get the buzz of seeing them pop up. I hope I provide some entertainment back to them as they make me smile.

A good shift last night with minimum work coming in , Just what i needed as i was the only shop floor op in the factory , Sometimes you just get away with it eh? Mind you it was a bit tense at times but the shift came and went with no shit at all…Nice!  Message to Douggie…Get well soon mate cuz the swimming in shit is getting to be a bit of a bind.

The street theatre is still putting on it’s act , the swearing at children is on going but we have had a respite from the incessant thud of a football poundingagainst a wall for a few days…Oh and we have been short of late night banging and music for a few days unall , Though i reckon we have become attunedto it now so it becomes a part of everyday life! Shame the neighbourhood is going down hill though as i see another house up for sale just up the road from me..let’s hope we get some nice folks moving in eh? Asthree familys of ignorant folk in a small comunity like ours is three too many! Bring back those halcyon days!

Pissing down with rain today…Mind you i don’t feel like doing much as i had a drop too much beer last night and i am a bit fuzzy today.I got a smile off my site meter today though as the old factory dropped in four times today..Allus makes me grin when they pop in. They seem to be unable to keep away and since the IT fuck up that could not happen…. but did, it gives me a warm feeling knowing they know that i know..Is that a Slade song?

A stir fry on the menu tonight so only a bit of prepping to do and we are there. Speaking of food last nights meal at the pub was good.They have done a good job of the place i reckon and i will visit again when the fancy takes.

The street theater has been good lately as it seems to be the in thing to sware at the youngsters..No wonder they grow up with no respect!!!

Absolute hatstand.

Another mental shift last night and by 2 am we were all well chuffed to see the back end of the work going out. Mind you we did get a good view of the fire across the way from us..thank fuck the smoke never came our way..That’s all ya need after a hard shift. I suppose the firemen will be crowing about the first bit of work they have had to do this year.. Perhaps another strike for 40 grand a year is looming now they have had to get out of bed and do a bit!

I had a bastard of a migraine last night but managed it with a fist full of pain killers, and once the flashing had gone away i plodded on with a belting head ache, an aching neck and a taste like i had an old copper penny stuck in the back of my throat.. Those of you unlucky enough to suffer these things will know just how much pain they cause. Still a bit groggy from it now over 12 hours later..More pills i reckon.

Only two shifts to go this week so the days off are on their way.Mrs B is out for a beer or two with her colleagues on Friday whilst i shall be having a cup of char with mine..Somethings just ain’t right eh?

Yesterday was the beginning of ” Be Nice To Nettles Week ” now that’s a good week for us as we have a small Nettle patch for the caterpillars and butterflys to feed on and lay their  eggs on cuz we do like to promote nature, unlike cat owners who allow their filthy beasts to shit in other folks gardens and kill anything the stinking flea ridden bastards can jump on!

I wonder if anyone in my neighbourhood is going to enjoy ” Noise Action Week ‘ next week..it’s all about spec init?

A nice day out..And then!

We had a good day yesterday,A pint and a cob before going up the castle then down to the market square..all in a good one.Home to listen once again to the local street theater shouting and swaring banging about and generally being annoying. It was nice to live around here at one time but the peace is gone now..Even at midnight folks are shouting out daft names to get their stinking cats attention…Another episode to log in the diary!

A nice sunny day today so alfresco dining is on the cards , a nice bit of salad and a glass of beer is well in order and with the noisey neighbours out we might get some relaxing done without distraction.

It was good to inform the staff at the Co-Op that the plans are back on the table for the new shops.I love to poke it up them.

Back to the factory tonight for the start of the night shifts,And another weekend at work, mind you next month is weekends off so it’s swings n roundabouts eh?

The lovely Mrs B is out for a few bevvies with her colleagues tonight whilst i am grafting..Life can sometimes be a bastard eh?
