Having a knees up

Well the time is going by a a good speed as our walking holiday gets closer.

We met our new bosses last week, they gave us a bit of hope of improvement in conditions so its a wait n see situation.. We have been here before so no holding breaths n that. The new mob seem to give a fuck so all is good.

 

My knee has been playing up for a few weeks now and I am thinking of getting a replacement done. Now I am old I can get it fixed. Bit  of a decision to make as my mates op dint go as well as it should and he is now having another op..

Tell ya what though it would be good to cut out the pain killers. Asnd get about pain free. I will make my decision when we get back from our holidays. See how I cope with the walks.  Mind you I do about five or six hours walking every day at work and that ain’t easy on my knee. We shall see!

Both Roxy and Frank are getting into mates mode now though they still have to rag each other up every day ( must be a dog thing) but on the whole they get on well.

Any road I’m off to watch Dark Star. A corny 70s Si fi movie.

Walking Whitby.

Only a few weeks to go till me n the Lovely Mrs B will be in Whitby again,How nice to walk in such a nice place,Good beer n food unall. Then a bit of a wait till we go to Cairo then its planning time for next years hols.Las Vegas is on the cards..

Had a good day out with all the family for fathers day. Spared a few moments for my Dad and Dad in law,And all was good.

A blue Lagoon….

Holiday booked.Blue Lagoon resort on Kos. I love the Greek people,Food And wine. Roll on June.

Back to the real world.

We had a belter of a holiday,good food,good drink,sunshine & a bloody good storm, We had a relaxing time and would recommend Alcudiato anyone, Our apartment was in the Bellvue complex and a good place to be, a pool and bar right outside our door..What more could ya want eh?

Mind you back to the factory on Monday night,And planning the winter break next week..The Canary islands are always warm so i reckon it back there..Fuerteventura is on the list..Never been to that one so something new eh?

I nipped into the tattoo studio and got the detailing done on the kangaroo and the Nottingham crest also had another piece put on.pics to follow.

Anyroad im off..gotta defrost the fridge in time for the new one to be delivered..Its all go aint it?

One more sleep…

Off in the morning to the sun,fun and frolicks in Majorca, seems to have been a long wait but it’s here.. All is ready to grab n go.Don’t miss me too much as i am taking my ipod and there may be some wireless interweb access to be had.

I have got crabs..

Have you ever prepared a cooked crab? Disgusting i can tell ya,I normally get a dressed crab ready to eat but the shop had none so i got myself a whole one,What a load of mucking about that was,I ain’t doing that again,What with having to rip it open by hand n all that, Loads of mucking about for very little meat. Mind you i have seen it done in a proper shop by the sea and they bang um out in a matter of seconds, Perhaps it’s just me?

Me and the lovely Mrs B did some shopping today,i got myself a couple of shirts for the holidays,Mrs B got bugger all! And it rained then hail then a cold wind..When is the summer gunna start?

Notts Vegas.

Another chance for us here in Hood Town to dig our toes in the sand as the Market Square becomes a beach again this year, A good idea i reckon,Mind you it has to be kept clean,Nowt worse than sticking ya bare foot in a used nappy buried in the sand.

The weather has turned to shite again,rain,wind and cold again..Makes me want more for a week in the sun..

I nipped up to the tattooist’s today and booked an hour for next Thursday,I still haven’t got around to getting a photo of part two so when i have had part three done i shall post up a pic, Part four is already for doing but i reckon it will be after our holiday,I don’t want to be scabby whilst i am away!

A nice bit of Pollock for dinner,Ya can’t have to much fish n chips i reckon,We had a ruby last night so something a bit lighter today eh!

Anyroad it’s time for a brew and i have to get the spuds pealed and chopped so i’m off. Have a good one and stay safe out there.

Divorce…

Only one shift left out of this weeks toil and my feet have divorced the rest of my body..A full on bag of shit we have been up against this week i can tell ya. Tonight has got to be a steady one!!! Sometimes the work piles up in front of us and we just have to wade through it but i reckon we hit top quota and the last shift should be a bare foot walk in cool wet grass. I can only hope!

Good news on the factory front is that Maz has come over to our team from another crew and is a bonus for us..We now have a strong team again,So bring it on.

What with having both the public hols off over Easter Mrs B has suggested a day out at the seaside..Skeg-vegas i think,A bag of chips a pint and a paddle in the sea is well in order. I ain’t been to Skeggy for years, though i doubt it has changed much.
