Holidays and good times.

The first holiday of the year will soon be upon me,Well up for some sun and fun after a stint of falking hard work by both myself and the lovely Mrs B,We have been putting in some top efforts on the work front and are due some down time.

The weather is picking up here now (Today is spot on) and the sunshine brings a smile to faces that were grim just a month ago. The garden is shooting to life again and the wildlife is moving back in,The resident hedgehog came out for a wander a few nights back and is looking good after its winter sleep.Spring is a great time of year.

Good to see some top class reviews of my mate Dan’s play in the news he deserves the best after putting in a lot of work,Good luck with all you do mate. I am hoping that ” Our style is legendary” plays in its home town of Nottingham,I would love to see it played here and it would be good to catch up with Dan again.

Speaking of the arts i am well chuffed to see we are again going to be having some outdoor theatre up at Notts Castle, i shall be having a portion of that later in the year.

Anyroad its time i got stuck into prepping for dinner,Have a good one and stay safe out there.

A long cold winter

It has been a cold one over the last few months but i reckon its gunna be a good year,All is well at the factory and with 3 holidays booked the year is going well.

I have just about quit smoking now and am just on the odd cigar to stave off the cravings,We are now saving a few more quid so good time to be had with the extra wonga.

The grudge is alive and well inside me as some things just can not be forgotten,Mind you i have never been a forgive & forgetter……..You know who you are.

The garden is just coming back to life now and i am well looking forward to seeing how the big tree looks in leaf after it has been reduced and trimmed, Lets hope it reduces the amount of cleaning up we have to do in the Autumn.

I have got to sort out my driving test soon,So i have been boning up on the test with one of those PC base jobbies,Time will tell.

Anyroad i am off to marinade some chicken,Have a good one and take care out there.

Things are rolling along at the factory,The big change in a few weeks.more wonga.Ya cant beat change i say.

Good to put the clocks forward again and see some day light after work,not a bad day today and chance to get the washing out unall,gotta keep ya body armor clean eh?

Proper enjoying the trip in and out to work on the scooter now the weather is picking up though i hear the weather man has some snow on the way..What the hell is going on?

Anyroad i seem to have been away from here for a while due to Mafia Wars adiction so i am making an effort to updat with shite now,and as you know i am full of that.

Is that the end of the snow? Lets hope so , I am well ready for the spring i can tell ya. It is getting lighter in the mornings now and traveling home on the scooter after a night shift is getting to be a lot more fun as i can buzz up to Gotham to clear the cobwebs.

Not long now till we are getting some sun on our backs.

I only have the night shifts to do next week then i have 12 days off,Good news is the lovely Mrs B is off too so i reckon we will be getting in a visit to the cinema of a frame of bowling.Speaking of bowling it has been ages since i went with the Go-Lightlys,Mind you i reckon i am out of their circle nowadays…

Is that light i see?

Good news..Its getting lighter in the mornings,On the way home from the factory this week after the night shift i am driving into day light,Only a glimmer but it makes me feel good i can tell ya. An end to the winter gloom and a herold of the spring.Bring it on.

Things are still in the flux of change at the factory so we are all waiting for the final stamp before things realy start to roll.

Tipping the velvet.

An odd week at the factory with snippets on news about the 8th of December bringing changes but just gossip i reckon,as we are a player down from our team we have a ringer in,velvet trousers un all…Dont ask!

Cold as a witches tit this morning coming home on the scooter,i see now why bikers wear all that leather,mind you for 10 mins i can stick it.

I reckon we are well into the festive season now what with the tele banging out the crimbo adds and the radio playing the same old crimbo songs..Bring on the spring i say and lets get a look at Kates tits again!

Anyroad 2 shifts still to go so i am about to mount the beast and set off for the factory. Have a good one most of you!

Touchdown.

Back in Blighty after a belting week away,Well tanned and chilled out i can tell ya,No time to post photos yet as i aint downloaded um, so later for that.

Not a bad day here in Hood Town with the sun shining and the start of what looks to be a good spring,The garden looks good after being away for just a week we can see that things are happening under the soil and we have a good show of crocus again this year so a bit of colour about already. The remnants of a load of nut shells is a good sign that the squrrells are having enough to eat so all is well on the garden front.

Now to get all the holiday clothes washed and put away for the summer break..Not long now!

Mallard!

I have just had a call from the lovely Mrs B telling me she is leaving the office early (one of the perks of being the gaffer.) so i have just bunged the duck in the oven and prepped the rest of the meal..Should be done for 18:30!

It is still nice outside and i have enjoyed a hour or two out there reading though now the local kids are home from school i have come in doors..Too much noise!

Good to see a bit of justice handed out in the papers today..Mind you some lefty twat will release this nutter out early you see.

A lovely morning..the young Great / Blue tits are wittering in the tree and the parents are in and out for food for um. A joy to watch and a surprise that we have so many survivors owing to the amount of flea ridden cats stalking about..mind you a few well placed missiles helps!

We do well with the species of wildlife we attract here at Barnze Towers..Most of it down to the lovely Mrs Bs planting and planning of the garden, Mind you not many frogs n toads this year but still time for them to make an appearance. Grunt the hedgehog has been out most evenings clearing up the slugs n snails and it is good to see him fatten up each time we see him!

Not many squirrel’s about though but they only pop in on rare occasions due to there being plenty of food about for um and the fox ain’t been seen for months???

A bit damp.

The garden is slurping up the rain this morning.with more rain to come so it’s a few days off just kicking back for me.Well with a few domestic jobs thrown in but what the hey?

Only a few week now till we nip off on our jollys and a well deserved break for us both..Then we are on the count down for the late summer sunshine break in Tenerife…Life is good. Still in the planning stages for our August break though..I fancy a few days in the Peaks..Nice and quiet, Fantastic scenery, Good beer,Good food & even better company.

Faggots,  mash n peas on the menu tonight so the old trump muscle will be on form later..yep i know it’s puerile but i like it.

I have the privalage of master Bs company for a few days as rain has stopped play at his place of work..Just what ya need when you are trying to kick back eh? A 20 year old in ya face..it takes me forever to understand him..kids eh ya gotta love um.
