A swift un.

That’s the working week behind me and with a few cold ones out the front of the pub last night a good end to another hard week, now a few days off and a good start as i did not wake up till well after half ten today,I have been well looking forward to catching up on the sleep i can tell ya.

Outside catering tonight so no cooking for me..Nice!

Off out shopping with the lovely Mrs B on Friday,Mind you i had best slip on the kevlar vest as there is a sniper about in Bulwell not quite what you want while you are shopping.

Good to see the sun shining and the garden looking good,i even managed to get a little fat guz-gog of my bush before the birds and bugs got to it,The whole garden is in tip top condition (All Mrs Bs work) thanks to my watering skills.

Anyroad i am off for a brew now,Have a good one and mind you don’t cop a pellet in the eye if you are out and about in Hood Town.

Drill or pliers?

An appointment with the dentist today, i have put it off twice since Feb but they phoned me yesterday to remind me ( Nice of um!) anyroad after a few mins in the seat i was away, only to get a call from them to say i had buggered off without paying, ha ya bastards! Bad news is i gotta go back tomorrow afternoon so an early finish to my first day shift and a jump up and down from the boss…Hey it’s gotta be done!

Another cat shooting here in Hood Town and some funny comments of the local papers website, Seems i am not the only one who hates cats!

Not a bad week coming up what with a few pints after the last shift then me n the Lovely Mrs B are off shopping on Friday for a few bits for the holiday, it wont be long now..

Anyroad i’m off for a brew and an hour on the patio,a nice day so a bit of time in the sun with an Audiobook is in order. Have a good weekend and don’t be fooled eh!

A scabby week.

Another tough week at the factory, Mind you we did get Douggie back for the last shift so that one went a bit better, Now for a few days off and a bit of quality time.

The crew are off out after our last shift next week, now the weather is picking up we can nip down the road for an alfresco beer. It’s what Summer is made for i reckon,A cheese n onion cob and a pint after work!

The new tattoo is still a bit scabby so no pic yet, But as soon as it looks it’s best i shall post one up, What with Jax asking to see it and me chomping at the bit for stage three to be done, I am literally itching to get on with it.

I was well chuffed to see that Saturday night Sunday morning has been digitally remastered now.One of my faves is that,Mind you a bit biased owing to it being set in Hood Town ( Mind you some of it was filmed in London. ) but a classic i reckon, Go on treat yourself and buy a copy.

Anyroad i’m off to Mozzers to sort out dinner,Have a good one and as Arther Seaton said ” Don’t let the bastards grind ya down.”

The days off are here again after what has been an unusually tough week of day shifts,No drinks after work this week due to the shifts ending on a Saturday and us all wanting to spend some quality time with our loved ones..Next time on days the whole crew will be up the pub for a debrief and a few pints after the last shift..Nice!

It is good to see the garden in full bloom again and the bugs, birds and the rest of the wildlife taking advantage of it,Even my Guz-Gogs are getting fatter..Soon be picking and eating them before the birds get um.

A few chores tomorow and my tattoo on Tuesday so i reckon plenty of chillin time in between should do me some good. Every day brings the holiday nearer eh?

The last un.

Last shift of the week the week tonight and a tough week it’s been i can tell ya,mind you it ain’t done yet so i want a good one tonight to round it off.

My fingers are still giving me some grief but getting better all the time,i reckon a good session of loving care from the lovely Mrs B and a few beers will put me well up the road to recovery.

Quite a bit of shit to do on my days off  what with shopping,admin & a few faces to see but i reckon i can slot in some quality time in there….Bring on that holiday!

Adding insult to injury….

Well it has been a tough week i can tell ya…I got my arse kicked at bowling,I got man flu and felt as rough as fuck,and the working week has been a bastard but i made it!!

I had a call from my tribunal man with an insulting offer to call the tribunal off,not happy with that so No Deal,Then another offer insulting me even more so No Deal,Now we are only a few days away from the day in court and i am well looking forward to it!

Barnze says “We all have a price”!

Mrs B has the same flu like symptoms as me and the added bonus of an aching tooth so we have both been sleeping badly this week and are both well ready for a week on the boat kicking back n doing as little as poss for a bit,Only a few weeks till that comes around ! It never fails to recharge the body batteries does a week on the water,Mind you for a full recharge a week in the cottage in the peaks really does ya some good so i reckon we will be off up there soon un all.

The end of my last shift was lifted yesterday with a call from Mrs B saying she would be meeting me in the Bell for a swift one before going home,Always a good way to end the working week i reckon!

I’m a lucky man.

I met up with the lovely Mrs B last night after the end of this weeks shifts,What with Mrs B working late at the office and finishing at the same time we met up and had a swift one in the Bell before making our way back to Barnze Towers for a meal and some hand holding in front of the tele.. A lovely night & the perfect way to end the working week.

It’s my turn in the kitchen again tonight so a trip up the shops is on the cards,Inspiration is not known to hit you up there but i’m sure i can bang something together for us & there’s always chips eh!

A very busy week,with a welcomed break.

Full on at the factory this week,and i am well chuffed to have the weekend off i can tell ya.

We are looking forward to catching up with some old faces today at the wedding function,though times like these bring memories of those who are no longer with us,i reckon good times carry a bit of heartache with um eh? Or is that just me?

I met up with the lovely Mrs B last night after work for a pint or two with her and her colleagues down at the Navvy so that was a nice way to round off a hectic stint at the factory , i love Fridays me.

A bit of a lie in for me today as i did not get out of bed until just before 10 so that was good,Mrs B is up at the hairdressers getting a trim at another rip off price,ya can get the works up at speedys for a fiver and get to read the star all in 10 mins….How do they justify 90 quid for a haircut???

A surprise last night to turn up for work to be met by the boss,seems that there was a technical glitch this week and as i was last at the scene i am to blame so i have been suspended pending an investagation,Shit always rolls down hill as the saying goes.Hey if i fucked up i’m happy to hold my hands up to it! Shit happens!

So that’s it for this week at the factory,As luck would have it Mrs B was at a late meeting at work so we met up at the Bell for a pint on the way home to discuss the latest shit to stick to my shoes,then home for a quiet night in,Mind you i did have to stay up late before going to bed due to me getting up a 14:00 and being wide awake.

As i had some unexpected spare time i was going to take my PC up to the repair shop today but it’s lashing down at the moment so i will hang on to see if it stops.

It never rains eh?

I see that the council have a budget for the Smoking Police so i am wondering if i should apply for a job with them,i reckon i would make a great fag plod me.
