The White stuff.

The snow is causing havoc i reckon,we just dont cope well with it,I just get some crumpets,put the kettle on and look at it through the window.

A week off coming up and a nice few days with the lovely Mrs B..What more could i want???

The factory is plodding on at a steady pace and things are good,A few new systems to be up and running by the end of the month gives us a boost.

Anyroad i am off to rug up in front of the tele with Mrs B.keep warm you lot it’s cold out there.

Tipping the velvet.

An odd week at the factory with snippets on news about the 8th of December bringing changes but just gossip i reckon,as we are a player down from our team we have a ringer in,velvet trousers un all…Dont ask!

Cold as a witches tit this morning coming home on the scooter,i see now why bikers wear all that leather,mind you for 10 mins i can stick it.

I reckon we are well into the festive season now what with the tele banging out the crimbo adds and the radio playing the same old crimbo songs..Bring on the spring i say and lets get a look at Kates tits again!

Anyroad 2 shifts still to go so i am about to mount the beast and set off for the factory. Have a good one most of you!

Quiet please.

A nice piece of pork fillet tenderloin with roasted winter veggies,Comforting and good for ya. A bottle of wine and some good tele ,a warm fire & the lovely Mrs B , a cozy night in is sorted.

A bit of a mixed bag of events at the factory this week,But at the end we done and dusted um all.Nice to do a good job  and come out smiling eh?

A nice steady week for me on the next block of shifts as i am the gaffer..Ivory towers and all that.

Good news today as the holiday tickets come through the letter box.Always good to have them in ya mitt, I have been following the weather forcast in Malta and it looks to be a warm one.

Bad news is its gunna be a bit overcast here in Hood Town over the weekend so i reckon it’s holding hands in front of the tele for us,Nice!

Anyroad i am off to meet the lovely Mrs B from the office and grab a bit of something for dinner,have a good weekend and take care .Oh and life means life eh?

Coma or Sleep?

I tell ya what no matter how good ya hols are it’s allus good to get in ya own bed..i slept like a log last night..Mind you i got to bed late after watching Schindler’s List again,A cracking film i reckon. Anyroad if it weren’t for the dustbin men waking me up at just gone 8 i would have slept till dinner time.

I hear that the old Co-Op will be closed for about a month for fitting out and by the looks on the faces of staff in other shops they are making it pay while they can, I reckon there ain’t one person that’s gunna miss the old dump.. Mind you it would be good to see the old bingo place as a pile of rubble..I can only wish!

Back to the factory on Thursday night and i am hoping that Douggie is well enough to get back to work by then, The poor fucker has a trapped sciatic nerve and i know how that feels.. But as i shall be gaffer i need him to be fit n well.

Anyroad i am off to prep for tonight’s meal..Have a good one and mind ya backs..

Bargain..

Me n the lovely Mrs B nipped into town today to collect our travelers cheques n euros for the hols so we nipped into the Bell for a swift one and a bowl of chips to keep us going..first time since the refurb and i must say i like it..i was a bit apprehensive on entering but i reckon it’s good.

We picked up the Sopranos boxed set for 90 quid from Zavvi, Half price so we were well chuffed with that,Then a new beach bag and a few holiday bits, oh then Mrs B noticed her watch had stopped so off to the watch battery bloke, nowt wrong with it says the bloke as the battery had become dislodged..a free one there so chuffed all round. Oh and it proper pissed it down..not that we cared!

I had a call from me mucker Douggie today and he tells me his knee is swollen and painfull again so he is off on the sick,,Take it easy mate them knees take a bit of time to mend. So i reckon that is putting a bit of pressure on the fill in crew on our team at the factory, mind you i am in holiday mode so i ain’t having to cope with it eh?

Anyroad i’m off for a bit of dinner and some Sopranos..Have a good un n think of me in the sun..

Shhhhhhhh..

Just got back from the cinema..Journy to the center of the earth 3D.. Brilliant..It’s been ages since i saw a 3D movie and i was not let down..We all enjoyed it though the fat girl in red who sat three seats behind us had 4 bog visits during the movie???? Well worth a look if it’s up ya street!

After it was into Antalya to see Mehmet and enjoy another top class meal.. Mind you i paid so there was a bit of a sting in the tail.. Then off to Wilko’s for a new iron as ours committed suicide this morning.. all in a good day.

A quiet night in with a bit of Roots the next generation to watch tonight so all is well. I am not due back at the factory till Wednesday night so a bit of hedge trimming in the morning and a meal to cook is on the cards for tomorrow..

Right i’m off for a brew..mind ya backs out there as stabbing season ain’t done yet. What is the score now? 6 stabbed to death in the last 2 days??? Capital punishment time eh?

Pussy proof & proud!

Well i reckon we are now fully cat proof.And with a good stock pile of stones we are ready for anything..i reckon one of them cats must have laid an egg as i found a shell in the garden yesterday???? Must review the cctv when i get time.

It is good to see i can now post comments again on the Nottingham Evening Post website..i reckon some folks would have missed me on there .Eh Mike?

My mate Dave the Belt starts at the factory in the morning so good luck to him,I ain’t back till saturday night shift but i shall catch up with him when i start my day the week after. Dave should fit in well as we don’t perform like the old factory..no shafting going on , just hard work and a good laugh.. see ya next week mate.

i am cooking up some Southern Fried Chicken for tonights meal so not a lot of work to do there and i know that the family like it so we are sorted. A nice quiet night in with a bit of holding hands in front of the tele..Nice!

Peaced out and full up.

Just got back from the pub after a pleasant walk along the Trent. Feeling full of good food and beer and relaxed after the stroll amongst the trees. The bird song down there was soothing to the mind and the gentle bubble of the river makes for a very relaxing walk.

A nice mixed grill for me and lemon and herb chicken for the lovely Mrs B went down a treat and with the excitement of Mrs B spilling her drink all over the table made for a good time. A bit of a quiet night in tonight cuz we are up early for the birds of prey in the morning. All in a nice few days spent together..Holidays just a few weeks away so all is well.

Young master B is well chuffed with his birthday prezzy and is happy with the choice of games we brought for him..now all he has to do is get his room tidied up a bit and we all shall be chuffed..i ain’t holding my breath!

Anyroad i reckon i shall have another beer and catch up on the Avengers..Have a good one dear reader and stay safe.

I love the weekends off.Me n the lovely Mrs B had a nice morning..This afternoon we did nowt.something planned for the morning if the weather is good.A walk perhaps with a pint at the end of it?

A bit of a bumpy shift last night but at the end of it i stood outside the factory gates having a fag as dawn broke..sometimes just those simple things make it all worth while. we all wished Douggie all the best with his op and i for one will be glad to see him back in the ring.

With the falconry day only a few days away we are feeling good oh and a few more hols to book off work..We are now thinking about our winter hols, ya can’t beat a bit of a sunshine holiday away from the dark cold days of an English winter.
