Odd that i never heard from my old employer anything about the IT fuck up that happenedlately..i was expecting a letter of apology for the unfair,unjust and underhand way they fired me.. I still hold a grudge!

They have my number if they want to give me a bell. Not that they will. but i do get a daily bit of pleasure seeing them pop up on my site meter. Nice of um to show some interest.

 

 

Well well would ya belive it?

It seems that the IT system that could not go wrong and cost me my job at the old factory and casting a shadow on my good name has gone wrong again ( Or should i say gone wrong for the first time)..It makes me smile to know that somewhere in the old place there will be a couple of red faces knowing they did me wrong..Yes i do bear a grudge as i recall the word ‘Malicious ” being mentioned during my tribunal..Mind you i feel sure that folks at the old place will be smiling to themselves as most of them knew i was Innocent of all charges…Hey ya never know i might even get a letter of apology before i even get time to set in motion a  claim  under Section 2 of the Defamation Act of 1966..Interesting times ahead!

As for the working week things have been up and down so i am well glad to see the back of this one. We are having a new fence fitted with some anti cat features and we now have a sonic cat repeller in the garden so we are hoping those mesures will keep out the flea ridden moggies..

Me n the Lovely Mrs B are off for some bowling during this period of time off and we are taking in a day out at Attenborough Nature Reserve so all is well for the relaxing time.

A good day out yesterday, what with the tribunal and a good lunch in a secret location with a fucking good smoking terrace and a few cold beers a good crack all in..As per the terms & conditions laid down i can’t say much but lets just say that me n the lovely Mrs B are well looking forward to flopping down on a sun bed beside the pool in a few days….

A day off for us both today so shopping is on the cards, More shoes??? Ya never can tell. A pub lunch and a bit of a walk around Hood Town sounds about right..

My finger is still on the mend but every now n then if i catch it on owt it hurts like hell, But i reckon it will be ok in a few days.

You remember Russle our resident hedgehog??Well his mate Grunt is now living with him..smaller than Russ, Grunt makes a weird snorting sound when he/she patrols our garden but we don’t mind the noise as it is very pleasing to have a family of um living with us. Good to have a bit of nature willing to share it’s space with ya i reckon.

A belter of a day yesterday followed by a nice quiet night in,We took a walk along the Victoria embankment up to the cattle market,did a bit of biz then took a walk into town.Today a bit of plant shopping at the garden center (including a hot dog snack) and another night in tonight as i have to be up early in the morning,shit to do and a dentist appointment in the afternoon so busy times to get through.

Not long now till we fly out to Spain  and only 4 day shifts to do this week as my unfair dismissal hearing is a week on Monday.

Well yet another fucked up night,mini flood all over the factory to sort out but thats it for now as i have had to take two shifts off to get the tribunal thing out of the way so i am now on holiday…

Off out bowling tonight so something to look forward to but now it’s bed time.

Blimey it was a hot one last night….talk about sweat!!

What with being a man down and the heat building we were drained by 2am but managed a sit out in the cool early morning air for a few fags and a couple of bottles of water, we were all ready for shift change over i can tell ya.

Then to top it all i got a few phone calls during the day waking me up and leaving me feeling like i had a hangover,Don’t ya just love it?

Thank fuck i only have 2 more shifts to do on this stint.Out bowling on Wednesday night with the go lightlys and my tribunal on Thursday morning so a bit to do before i get to chill on my days off.

I am ready for a beer!

Anyroad i’m off for a shower n a shave before the next shift. Have a good one dear reader.And be careful out there.

Seven days to go…

Only seven days till i get to put my case for unfair dismissal to the employment tribunal and i am feeling confident that justice will be done, mind you winning the case don’t make up for the stress and shit i had to go through but at least they will be admitting guilt and i will get my good character restored,The ACAS people have been negotiating with the company that unfairly dismissed me to get some sort of settlement to drop the case but the offers have been insulting to say the least, i suppose i was lucky to find employment as quick as i did after a month of shit and having “Dismissed ” for the first time in over 15 years of doing this job ( With some top class references i must add) on my record ain’t what i call nice.

So the countdown begins to me getting my good name,respect & integrity restored & lets face it, it is my good fortune to have found employment so the time i was unemployed should not be taken into account when any offer of recompense is made but the company have come nowhere near to making good their mistake,It kind of makes me think that they ain’t taking the whole thing as serious as i am!

That month i was out of work was one of the worst months in one of the worst years i have lived through what with all the stress of losing both mine & Mrs B’s dads then the shit last November topped off with getting the sack was a lot to cope with,not that the company was a caring bunch at the best of times ,Anyroad another insulting offer today and another decline from me,i have informed my man of the ammount i will settle at and a reasonable sum it is in my view,so hopefully the messing about will stop and we can ether settle or meet up at the tribunal to hammer it out.

I had kind of put the whole thing out of my mind for a few weeks but now that things are getting nearer to getting sorted i can feel the bitterness i felt at the time creeping back so i will be well chuffed to see the back of the whole thing as i suppose the company will,not a good time on both sides i reckon.

Anyroad i am looking forward to getting the whole fucking mess sorted and to get on with my new job without having this shit around anymore.

Adding insult to injury….

Well it has been a tough week i can tell ya…I got my arse kicked at bowling,I got man flu and felt as rough as fuck,and the working week has been a bastard but i made it!!

I had a call from my tribunal man with an insulting offer to call the tribunal off,not happy with that so No Deal,Then another offer insulting me even more so No Deal,Now we are only a few days away from the day in court and i am well looking forward to it!

Mrs B has the same flu like symptoms as me and the added bonus of an aching tooth so we have both been sleeping badly this week and are both well ready for a week on the boat kicking back n doing as little as poss for a bit,Only a few weeks till that comes around ! It never fails to recharge the body batteries does a week on the water,Mind you for a full recharge a week in the cottage in the peaks really does ya some good so i reckon we will be off up there soon un all.

The end of my last shift was lifted yesterday with a call from Mrs B saying she would be meeting me in the Bell for a swift one before going home,Always a good way to end the working week i reckon!
