Cold today,a frost n all that,Mind you forecast is ok so still on the scooter to work in the morning up to now,i could change my mind after looking out of the window in the morning!

We are having outside caterers in tonight so who knows what is on the menu,the world is your whelk when it’s takeaway night.

We were supposed to nip up to the tattooist today but Douggie could not make it,Mind you i still aint made my mind up on the last design for my backpiece,Tossing up between an axe on a grinding wheel and a hanging clown,Both tributes to someone special!

Anyroad time for a shave n all that so i’m off,Have a good one and wrap up warm eh?

Feeling better.

I am beginning to feel as if i am getting over this dragging illness,Mind you i have tried all the remedies going so i should be getting there.

What with the days off i should be good n proper for the next stint at the factory.Rest is a great healer. some good news as we have booked and confirmed our new years eve function at a hotel in Hood Town so that is something to look forward to on these dark winter days,The lovely Mrs B celebrates her birthday on new years eve and sadly the last two years i have had to work so we are well chuffed to be able to see the new year in and her birthday together this year.

The big changes at the factory that we thought were going to happen back in September are very close to coming in and a roster change will be very welcome,It looks like January now for the change,Another bonus to look forward too. So all is looking good for the new year!

Mrs B is booked in for the final session at the tattooists in the morning,and i am still pondering the last design for my back piece,Not a light decision so i and still torn between three designs …Drives me barmy to have to choose!!!!

Anyroad i got a bit of shopping to do so i am off,Have a good weekend you lot,I know i will.

Feel the pain..

I am still poorly…Mind ya aint everyone?

Mrs B has had her first sitting up at the tattooists and a good piece of art in the making,I shant say anymore until it has been finished but it does look like it is gunna be a good un.

Well up for bonny night as we get to do it twice what with my old muckker Mass having a get together the folowing Saturday.I do like a good burn me & we have plenty of fireworks for both functions. Mind you its only the family on the actual night and we aint let a banger off in years so i am looking forward to it.

The weather is shite at the moment and the wind has brought all the leaves onto the garden and the job of picking um up will soom be here if it keeps dry for a day.I do like playing with the leaf blower as it is a bit like the BFG from the game Doom. Come get some!

Mrs B is baking today so loads of tarts to get stuck into later…NICE!

Still alive..Just!

Still poorly,it’s been ages now and no sign of it going away,Mind you i slept like a log last night for the first time in weeks,I am taking it easy this week just catching up on sleep and keeping snug n warm.

Just back from the tattoists and am well chuffed with the knight,I will post photos when it has healed.Poor Douggie still has another session on his back so he is still not done,maybe next week mate..

I have a few days off now so plenty of time to rest up and try to shake this cold off,hot lemon drinks and losds of tele will sort it.

A bit of a hit n miss week at the factory,Some good some bad but it has been and gone now and with only two more week to work till we jet off who gives one eh?

I will be catching up with my mate Douggie for his 2nd sitting at the tattooists on Wednesday so i reckon a pint or 2 after will be in order, A few more weeks to go till i get my next session and i am looking forward to getting the detailing put onto my latest piece ,Roll on.

It is our anniversary on Tuesday 22 years of wedded bliss, Bad news is that the lovely Mrs B (Promoted to a higher position) is so busy in the office she cannot get the day off..We are setting aside a day of our holiday in Alcudia for some special moments..Mind you there will be some hand holding done on the big day so all will be well. I hope to get at least another 40 years of celebration in before i shuffle off this mortal coil, Mind you having a knees up when you are 90 odd don’t really thrill me but i will give it my best. Ain’t love grand?

Do we all hate Derby?

The last of the days off and back to the factory in the morning,Without Douggie on the team,Mind you i shall be catching up with him later today as he is booked in for a few hours work on his back piece at the tattooists today, Football related stuff going on his back..not my thing but that’s the way he is,Even worse it’s Derby County stuff,and that sticks in the craw of Hood Towns footy fans. Means bugger all to me though!

While Douggie is off work we will get a sub in to cover his work and we get to work with a new employee on Saturday,Still awaiting the changes but status quo for now.

The holidays are just four weeks away now and we are all looking forward to the sun lounger i can tell ya.

I have been looking forward to the kangeroo piece, it turned out well i reckon.

 

The coat of arms is just at the outline stage at the moment but i reckon it looks good enough for a picture. A lot of detail to go into it after my hols.

This one is just at the base of my neck..And sore as hell.

A stabbing pain in the back.

Just back from the tattooists and now have the outlines of the next threes pieces on my back,I shall get the detail work done after my hols (Only a few weeks to go) so i am well chuffed. Mind you i am a bit sore as the new pieces are scattered over my back making it feel like an allover burn.The whole piece is looking good now,i tried to take some photos but i could not manage it on my own so i will get Mrs B to take a few snaps later then i shall post um up.

I am off out tonight to meet up with the lovely Mrs B and a few of her work collegues for a few pints beside the canal..i love the summer nights and for once this week it aint raining!!!

Last week went well with two days intensive training on some new procedures and the remainder of the week at the factory,We are still awaiting news of more changes and my fingers are crossed for a shorter working week.

Wow the weekend went by fast eh? Mind you each passing day brings the holiday a bit closer, The last holiday of the year and a long wait till March i can tell ya,Still ya gotta keep looking forward eh!

The lovely Mrs B has her decorating head on and is busy painting down there in the South wing,Doors are changing colour and i did notice a few spots of paint on her legs, Can you tell what it is yet?

Me n Douggie are off on a two day training course Monday n Tuesday so only two shifts on the factory floor this week,Hey we might even grab a pint on the way home!

Oh and i have booked an hour at the tattooists next Friday,I cant tell you what is going to be put on next untill we work out from my designs the next piece,needless to say the pics will be posted later.

Anyroad i’m off to grab a shower, I hope your weekend lasted a bit longer than mine..tempus fugit. Have a good un.

Where have i been?

Not much time spent here in Blogsville the last few days..Busy doing other shit and no spare time,but its all done now and i am back.. all to do with winds of change…..

We have a two day training session next week,some new techniques to be practiced and yet another certificate to earn. I like to get as many of those things in my folder as i can.a bit anal but they do look good i reckon.

I will be good to spend a bit of quality time with the lovely Mrs B this weekend as we both have had it all on at work over the last few weeks and deserve a break from it all.

My back is fully healed now and i may have time for one more piece of art stabbed into it before we fly off on our hols…..Mind you there is the dilemma  of chosing the next design…Only about 6 to chose from but i would like it to ballance well if you know what i mean?
