A nice piece of pork fillet tenderloin with roasted winter veggies,Comforting and good for ya. A bottle of wine and some good tele ,a warm fire & the lovely Mrs B , a cozy night in is sorted.

The found weekend.

The rest days are here again and a weekend off with the lovely Mrs B is to be enjoyed,And after a bleak, rainy,dark working week we are both looking forward to it,A roaring fire and a nice meal will soothe away the weeks graft i reckon.

Did you see that programme The execution of Gary Glitter the other week? I reckon it was brill and as one of the 54% of this country’s population in favor of the death penalty i reckon it must have poked a few thoughts into the heads of the other 46%.You still have a bit of time to watch it by clicking the link above,I must add that i have been to two of Gary’s concerts in the far distant past and he was the leader, a brilliant entertainer..Shame you turned out so wrong Gary,Even more of a shame you are still predating!

Onto a more lighter note crimbo is only a few weeks away and i have the luxury of being rostered off this year,i wonder if there will be anything in my stocking,i have been a good lad all year…..Honest i have!

Anyroad i have some shopping to do for tonight’s meal so i am off, Have a good weekend,snuggle up and keep warm with the one you love…That’s what i am gunna do.

Feeling better.

I am beginning to feel as if i am getting over this dragging illness,Mind you i have tried all the remedies going so i should be getting there.

What with the days off i should be good n proper for the next stint at the factory.Rest is a great healer. some good news as we have booked and confirmed our new years eve function at a hotel in Hood Town so that is something to look forward to on these dark winter days,The lovely Mrs B celebrates her birthday on new years eve and sadly the last two years i have had to work so we are well chuffed to be able to see the new year in and her birthday together this year.

The big changes at the factory that we thought were going to happen back in September are very close to coming in and a roster change will be very welcome,It looks like January now for the change,Another bonus to look forward too. So all is looking good for the new year!

Mrs B is booked in for the final session at the tattooists in the morning,and i am still pondering the last design for my back piece,Not a light decision so i and still torn between three designs …Drives me barmy to have to choose!!!!

Anyroad i got a bit of shopping to do so i am off,Have a good weekend you lot,I know i will.

Feel the heat…

We had a belting time last night around at Mass’s place and it was good to catch up with some old mates and meet some new one’s,The food went down well unall.

Me n Master B spent a few hours playing with the fire,and went home stinking but happy after getting rid of Mass’s lopped trees and opps that fence panel….I even got an invite to a catch up with a gang of old muckers but sadly i am working that night and have no hols left so can’t attend..maybe next time?

Today is just chill out time as i am back at the factory tonight for the start of the night shifts including the dreaded Manic Monday night shift,We all hate that one i can tell ya.

Anyroad just a quicky as i am off on the interweb to chase up my pension…Age is brill ain’t it?

Oh no the bamboo is on fire.

 

We had a great time last night setting off our fireworks,So good that we used um all even the ones i wanted to take to my mate Mass’s house…only one went wrong…A 16 shot jobbie that fell over and discharged it’s load into our bamboo plants, i thought we were gunna go up in flames but it was ok and made us laugh..A lot!

Back to the factory on Sunday night so those 12 days off have zoomed by and a long wait now till the winter holiday in February/March…The long dark nights!

A nice lump of rib eye steak for me n the lad and a lovely rainbow trout for Mrs B is on the cards for tonights meal,a bottle of wine and a nice unwind for Mrs B after a hectic week at the office. She is so lucky to have a bloke like me to pamper her.

The lovely Mrs B is out on a residential course at a top hotel,leaving Master B n me in for a Dusk till Dawn fest,Pizza n beer.ya can’t beat it.

I am still poorly…Mind ya aint everyone?

Mrs B has had her first sitting up at the tattooists and a good piece of art in the making,I shant say anymore until it has been finished but it does look like it is gunna be a good un.

Well up for bonny night as we get to do it twice what with my old muckker Mass having a get together the folowing Saturday.I do like a good burn me & we have plenty of fireworks for both functions. Mind you its only the family on the actual night and we aint let a banger off in years so i am looking forward to it.

The weather is shite at the moment and the wind has brought all the leaves onto the garden and the job of picking um up will soom be here if it keeps dry for a day.I do like playing with the leaf blower as it is a bit like the BFG from the game Doom. Come get some!

Mrs B is baking today so loads of tarts to get stuck into later…NICE!

Still alive..Just!

Still poorly,it’s been ages now and no sign of it going away,Mind you i slept like a log last night for the first time in weeks,I am taking it easy this week just catching up on sleep and keeping snug n warm.

Just back from the tattoists and am well chuffed with the knight,I will post photos when it has healed.Poor Douggie still has another session on his back so he is still not done,maybe next week mate..

I have a few days off now so plenty of time to rest up and try to shake this cold off,hot lemon drinks and losds of tele will sort it.

Back to work tonight and the weekend unall.Arse! Douggie n Maz are off and its me n who ever else the gaffers could rope in,Mind you i have a good 12 days off after this week so i am still smiling,What with Bonny night and a catch up with my mate Mass next weekend things are good.

Bad news is we turn our clocks back an hour this weekend giving us a 13 hour shift to work..British summer time ends again !!! That brings a few months of darkness and gloom,i reckon this turning the clocks back should be done away with.

I am still bunged up but have a nasal spray that works a treat,mind you after using it i get all snotty,a no win i reckon but snot beats bung any time eh?

i just hope it dont get too cold as the scooter is a bastard to start on a cold morning!

Back up to the tattooists in the morning,More work on my back and perhaps a bit of work on my upper arm. My mate Douggie will be up there after me for some work on his Derby footy badge. Some folks have no taste!

Mind you we can grab a pint after and if my evil plan works Douggie will be paying.

The lovely Mrs B is part way through decorating the study here at Barnze Towers so things are all over the place at the moment but i reckon it will be spot on when she has done,We have got rid of a lot of junk though i have to keep an eye on my stuff just incase Mrs B bins it…
